This cross-country ski track begins just a few metres from the station above the cablecar. The altitude of 2050 m gives a longer ski season, as snow is guaranteed to arrive before the start of the winter season.

The cross-country skiing track begins about 5 minutes from the Hotel Der Paternwirt. Pure air, a murmuring brook and warm sun on your skin will accompany you along the River Gail. The slopes are well-prepared each day and are used for training by champions, such as Ole Einer Björndale. You can learn the graceful movements by signing up for the cross-country ski courses.
